If you are one of those people aspiring to be a pharmacy technician I’m sure you really want to know the real deal about taking the  pharmacy technician certification. Questions like; Is it really a must to take such exam just to get a job? Will I have to get certified first before I apply for a job? are sure bothering you when it comes to being a future pharma tech. But what is really the truth about it anyway? The truth is taking the pharmacy technician certification exam is not a must. As of the meantime only Oklahoma has a law of getting pharmacy techs certified before they can work. Other than Oklahoma there are no other states that have implemented such strict rules about getting certified.

The truth is, despite not having the pharmacy technician certification exams as mandatory in the whole of United States most employers prefer those applicants who are certified. You must be wondering that it’s quite silly to know that the taking the certification is not required but employers all over the U.S prefer those who took and ace it.
